So a personal piece for you this week so feel free to skip the words and scroll to the photos if you like. I took a few days off as I had a stressful week and while I do love the challenges and unpredictability of freelance life, I find it really difficult to switch off. I mean I receive messages at all hours and once I have seen them it is hard not to think about them.
So the last time I needed a break I booked tickets to Paris. I know it sounds crazy but when you have a never ending to do list and work for yourself you always have something to do/update. I had been looking forward to this weekend since we booked it back in April and it didn't disappoint. You see, we were off to Dublin for a friends's surprise birthday and it was exactly what the doctor ordered! You know when you laugh so much your cheeks hurt and you have tears in your eyes? You are trying so hard to stop laughing but everything is so funny and you just can't. These last three days were filled with moments like those, Guinness, and a little rain. Now if you have been reading my blog for sometime you will know of my love recreating images with a filmic look. While I did take my point and shoot I found I shot a lot of pictures using the Huji app on my iPhone. Needless to say I am a big fan and here are a few random images from the weekend.
