Nothing better than an ice cold glass of rose on a warm sunny day. I don't know about you but it is my drink of choice during the summer months. Anyway, I was going through some old work and stubbled across these images I took in early July. By Glaze had partnered with Maison Mirabeau Rose for the perfect summer giveaway on Instagram. Here are some of the out takes which didn't make the cut.

And just like that another week disappears. Admittedly I was meant to head to Paris for a few days but that didn't work out. However, with this heat and last minute change of plans I decided it was important to take a few days off. I had been working on a big video edit and after taking some time away managed to come back and create a good working edit. So important to get distance with your work. Now I just need to tweak a few scenes but it is great to see an idea take shape. I am not sure about you but I can have a love / hate relationship with editing. So here are a few iPhone images from our day off at the beach. Nothing better than a trip to the ocean, even if it is pebbles instead of sand.
No need to talk about this heat but one thing I have learnt growing up in Australia where this warmer weather is the norm, is the importance to wearing natural fibres. Cotton and linen are the only material keeping me cool. At the end of last month, I had an exciting studio shoot with Ivy who create these beautiful classic wardrobe staples made from sustainable cotton. You can find out more details on their website where you can also see some of my work. Love these versatile layers. What is your favourite pieces?
Gosh crazy to think this time last week I was shooting video for an incredible wedding outside London. I had planned to write a post before I left but last week turned into a surprisinly busy week. I had a three big jobs which I wanted to complete editing before the big day on Sunday. Weddings can be long days but the addition of travel did mean that I spent most of Monday in bed and backing up all the files. That post shoot hangover is real. Please tell me I am not the only one? While I was waiting and checking files I had a moment to comprehend just how far I have come. I had told myself I wanted to be working on bigger jobs and well last week was proof. Sometimes you need to take a moment to stop and see how far you have grown. Personally I am hopeless at making business goals as I love variety in my work. However, as I sat feeling tired but happy I thought about new goals for the future. Here's a few images I took of the legal wedding ceremony. I can not wait to properly start editing all the content from this beautiful celebration.
