Happiness is...

Happiness is a little too much to define for one Sunday morning. Instead, I have been been trying to cram my day with as many micro pleasures as possible. I was given 'The Goddess Experience book written by Gisele Scanlon, thank you Beth! It has been a wonderful book to keep me company on my travels. It is full of inspiring ideas to help you find little moments of happiness.

Here are a few of my favourite things. Waking up and enjoying a good coffee in the morning, reading and planning my trip to Australia, beautiful tulips and of course hanging out with my trouble maker Flapjack the bunny. Hope you all had a good week!

Lost in the desert

I must confess this title is a little misleading, in fact we had two local drivers looking after us. Before we flew back to London, the rest of the crew and I had one last day to explore Saudi. This time I brought my camera and was able to take a few sneaky snaps.

Our original plan was to explore Old Dir'aiyah however, it was closed due to renovations. It was a long drive and we all felt a little disappointed. Our driver managed to stop so we could take a little look around and enjoy the sunset. Next stop was, as the Westerns have nicknamed it, Chop Chop square. Surround by markets is was a refreshing juxtaposition. It had been a surreal experience filming such a beautiful royal wedding but I also enjoyed the hustle and bustle of these dirty street markets.

London was calling, and before long we needed to head back to our hotel and then the airport. Time had passed far too quickly. Please take a look at some of my pictures below.

Sugar high

This post is sponsored by sugar! I am currently in a hotel room in Saudi enjoying a day off between shoots. It is not every day you get film a real life princess's wedding. You could say 2015 has started very well with shoots in Dubai and Abu Dhabi also confirmed.
