I had a few of the girls over at mine last weekend and we had a proper girly catch up over a few sophisticated cocktails. It was loads of fun! I have worked in hospitality for many years and am still very passionate about making cocktails. In a strange way I kind of missed it and enjoyed being the hostess.

It was a beautiful sunny Friday and my intentions of spending the day video editing inside did not feel right. I could not concentrate at the task at hand and found my self constantly staring out the window. I decided as it was Friday, I deserved a treat and went to visit my boy for lunch. I spent a wonderful day with my friend and our cameras. We had decided to meet in Covent Garden as it was, surprise surprise, forecasted with rain. This was a pretty fun choice as the market area has loads of personalty with all the different street performers. I wrote about cinetics last year, wow, that sounds like ages ago. Anyway, I have been meaning to shoot my own little sequence and have to apologise for the delay. Now I want to start by saying that I don't really loose objects, well except umbrellas, but generally as a rule I am always pretty good at looking after my belongs. So when I originally came to shoot this tester video last year I was shocked to find the 1/4" to 3/8" convert screw missing from my production pouch. I remember hearing it fall on set but could not see anything and thought nothing of it until I needed it. So I recommend you go to amazon and buy a few now, trust me, you will thank me later. |
