New year, new you. So a few years has passed since the last time I had the pleasure of shooting Dan Jackson. He approached me about updating his online portfolio as he was looking to apply for new jobs. I was happy to help, I mean any excuse to hangout with a good friend. Fingers crossed this helps him bag that new role. Always important to put your best picture forward, especially as an online presence is even more crucial these days. Need to update yours?

So I will keep this brief as my alarm is set for 4am and I am frantically trying to finish loads of last minute jobs as I am off to Rome for the weekend and looking forward to switching everything off and enjoying the time away. Lovely birthday gift from the boy, thank you! However, I do ramble... I thought I would use this space to introduce Rushane Chambers. Rushane won a free portrait shoot and I thought I'd share some of my favourite pictures below. It was an absolute pleasure working with him and advise you to keep an eye out for him in the near future!
So after completing all my admin and taxes I finally got behind the camera for the first shoot of 2018. Man did it feel good, I really missed that creative buzz! Now this shoot was not an ordinary portrait booking. Amy Black is a very talented singer, burlesque performer and member of candy heartbreakers and looking to update her portfolio. It was a welcome change to create some fun, flirty and sexy portraits while running around central London. I am pretty sure we made the builders day at Leake street tunnel and managed to gather a small crowd. Here's a sneak peak at one of the looks we shoot. So first week into the new year and I have been doing a tonne of admin and mainly taxes. Nothing too exciting to report as I have mainly been surrounded by at all my paperwork. Almost completed and I am looking forward to picking up my camera and shooting next week.
I have also been backing up all the files and clearing up my trusty laptop ready for a busy year. During this lengthy process I got to look back at some of my favourite shoots. Thought it was a good opportunity to share images of model Sophia below. I also wanted to mention you have one more day to enter my giveaway and win a free shoot with me! Competition ends at midnight on the 7th of January and winners will be announced Monday the 8th. Read the last blog post for more details and don't forget to tell me which kind of shoot you want. Good luck! |
