When a Monday feels like a Sunday, got to love a long and mostly sunny weekend. I might have gotten caught in the rain on Saturday but it was great to catch up with a friend and get lost in the back streets of central London. Found some great shooting spots. I have thoroughly enjoyed some much needed sunshine and wanted to share some images I took just before the weekend. We had been waiting for sunnier weather and so happy with the result. What do you think? I love this bright printed set, so comfortable and stylish.

So it was great to catch up with Laura from The Careless Blogger this week and shoot some street style. Of course we had to shoot a pink Barbie look. Pink really is the colour of the moment and if you saw my Instagram post a reoccurring theme in many of our shoots. It was great to explore Notting Hill and I can not wait to share some of the other looks we captured with you soon.
So before my little break I had the pleasure of shooting an event at Pizzeria Mozza in London. The beautiful gathering was filled with stunning guests, a moving poetry reading and a new collection of shoes and jewellery pieces that I still think about. Sarah Flint's elegant designs have been living rent free in my head for a few weeks now and I have just seen that they currently have a summer sale online. Take a look here.
Hello! I am back! I can't not believe in the last eleven years this is the first time I took a mini vacation from my blog. I have skipped the odd week but never more than two weeks in a row. As it is summer holiday here, I thought I would take the month of July off. It all started with a trip to Latvia, which I highly recommend, such a beautiful area. I was away for the weekend and as I generally post on Sunday had the intention of posting upon my return. However, upon landing I received another two last minute bookings to top of the three jobs that were already in the diary. If you know me, you know I hate saying no to work. Anyway, when you are in the editing zone time can sometimes disappear and so another weekend turned into Monday morning. It was at this point I thought I might need a break and decided to embrace some time off. I have been using this time to think about my work and where I want to be. I will discuss this in more detail later.
So this week I thought I would share some images from a Barbie themed test shoot. I was keen to embrace the pink and have shared one look from the shoot. As always it was a pleasure to work with Glitzy, do you have a favourite? |
