Mad Hatter's Christmas tea party

I am sure you have all gathered that I am a big fan of high tea. This is my 3rd blog dedicated to cake and tea. For Christmas we decided to treat ourselves to high tea at the Sanderson Hotel. I think this might just be my favourite yet (although I feel I still need to extend my research)...

For me the atmosphere and attention to details were incredible. The food and cake were delicious. Presentation was just amazing. It was almost hard to eat the food... almost. Please take a little look at some of the photos I took.

Dreaming of a white... Christmas

Today while I waited patiently for the post man (who still hasn't visited) I thought I would give myself a little challenge, white. This can be interpreted in many different ways. For me, I wanted to capture some beautiful images using white props found in my flat. This turned out to be more difficult that originally planned. While I love the colour white, I find  it can be a little difficult keeping things white...

I also wanted to limit the amount of photos that I took. I gave myself a limit of 3 shots per object. This exercise made me think about each shot beforehand. I was lucky to have plenty of time to make sure I was happy with composition and what I saw in the viewfinder.

While I will be dreaming of a white christmas, you can enjoy my photos below.

Homemade soup

In winter I can not help but hibernate. It is cold and mostly grey. Keeping warm is my top priority. As I had the day off and love cooking, I thought I would try my hand at creating some yummy homemade soup.

I will let the pictures below do the talking. I am not going to lie, after  a taste test I am feeling a little smug with myself. Love it when a plan comes together.

Another trailer

I have previously written about a marketing trailer for a feature film, a trailer for a short film and now a trailer for a theatre production. I was approached to shoot and edit a video for the show 'Words Apart' which was a huge success in the Brighton Fringe Festival.

Words Apart is a unique story centered around Paige. Pressured into an abusive relationship, she finds enlightenment through her only friends - four fictional characters from her bookshelf. But where will the story end?

I leave you with the trailer below. You can find out more details about the show here https://www.facebook.com/pages/Mustardseed-Brighton/423856084346473.
