I have been a little quiet on here and social media as I have been a little unwell. So between jobs I have just been resting. Although, it has been a fun few weeks with work, shooting a variety of content. This week I thought I would share a few images from the next drop with Monica B. Due to the London weather, we booked a studio last minute and I am really excited with the results. You can find more here https://monicab.co.uk/.

As a photographer I love shooting with primes lenes but since I bought my 24mm - 70 mm zoom I have become a little lazy. Time can be your biggest enemy on set and I found myself instinctively using this lens more and more. I am a huge fan of zoom lens but decided I wanted to shoot using my prime lens and not just any prime, my old analogue 35mm lens which uses an adapter to work with my Canon 5D. Focus, along with all the other settings, is manual. So it takes a little longer, which I is why I don't often use it for a job, but rather keep it for personal projects. Anyway, I had an awesome test with Felix last month using this lens and beyond ecstatic with he results. I hope to use this lens more with my work, now that I have had a good test and love the colours in the pictures below. Do you have a favourite? Also huge thanks to security for letting us use this gate for our shoot.
And just like that, it is Sunday already. I thought I would share some headshots I took last week outside as well as a recent studio session. I thoroughly enjoy the diversity of my work and have been shooting portraits for a few years now. While you will still find most actor headshots in a tight 10:8 crop, I am seeing a demand for wider, more personalised portraits. An opportunity for people to add some characterful content. Please use the contact me section if you would to find out more information about my packages.
Hello 1st of October! I can not believe how quickly this year has disappeared. Officially pumpkin spice month. I am enjoying the changing colour of the leaves. I don't know about you but I am very much drawn to warm orange tones. As the days get shorter it is time to inject some colour into our outfits. As always Laura from The Careless Blogger has some great inspiration for you. Something about the autumn light which brings me so much joy. Such a beautiful time of year to shoot. Get in contact if you want to book.
