Wow what a week, hard to believe it is Sunday already. Where has the time gone? I have had a busy week editing images from a recent wedding. While I would love to share some of these images with you today, it will have to be another week. Got to finish the job first. However, I wanted to share a few of my favourite images from some recent weddings. I must confess I thoroughly enjoy shooting these events which initially took me by surprise. I love to document the day and capture those special moments between friends and family. It is always such a pleasure to share such an important day and help create lasting memories.

Wow, Anna and Marco I have to hand it to you both you sure know how to throw a party! I had a last minute photo shoot capturing the celebrations of these two and I can not begin to explain how charismatic and friendly they were. It really made my job both fun and easy. The engagement party was held at Loft Studios, a awesome blank canvas which was simply dressed. Super friendly staff ensured everyone had a good time as we all experienced they hedonistic vibe of Studio 64. I was such a fun evening and I wanted to share a few images with you from the night. I can only image what your wedding will be like Anna and Marco, I wish you both all the best. So this is second part from my adventure into town. Last week I shared with you the images taken with my 16-35mm. This week I will share with you the images I took with my 100mm macro lens. As I retraced my steps back to the tube my journey felt very different. Suddenly I found myself with a very intimate view of my surroundings. People stood out from the crowd and I was able to capture moments. What a wonderful stark contrast to the image from last week. I thoroughly enjoyed this little experiment and will be heading into town again soon to see what beauty I can find in the streets of London. It has been a busy and unexpected week. I spent most of the Monday and Tuesday attached to my laptop catching up on some admin and emails. It had been a tedious day so I made a prompt decision to grab my camera and do something a little more creative. It was time I tested out my 16-35mm lens and see what I could capture. Personally I love shooting mid shots so I wanted to try and capture some dramatic city shots. As it was cloudy day, I though it best to shoot black and white. Check out a few of my favourites below. |
