I was recently introduced to coconut milk by my flat mate. She was eating porridge and made me try it. From that moment on I have been a little obsessed with it. We have all heard the benefits of eating a good breakfast so I don't need to lecture you again. I have been starting my day with a bowl of porridge made using coconut milk, blueberries and extra toasted coconut flakes. I know it may sound a strange but trust me it is delicious and after all breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

This weeks blog is a little different and I must stress a test and a development stage in preproduction. When I first moved to London, all those years ago, I had a little idea in my head about a short film. Some rough ideas I wanted to try and capture on film. I have had this idea for many years and have at various times developed the idea into a story board and shot list etc. Back then I didn't have my own equipment so I couldn't just get up and go. It has been a very busy month for me, I can hardly believe it has gone so quickly. Full of so many good memories. As you may have notice, my mum was over from Australia this last month and what a world wind visit that was. I can see where I get my stubborn and impatient qualities from. Just been informed from Off The Curb Productions that 'The Usher' will be screened on the 11th of August at London Zero Film Festival. Check out the website http://www.zero-london.com for tickets. As described, Zero Film Festival is the first and only festival exclusive to self financed filmmakers. I personally can not wait! Nothing more rewarding than seeing your work on the big screen especially with an audience of like minded people. Tickets are still available so hope to see you there! I have a few productions still to help motivate you. |
