While we all made jokes about how ironic it might be to have you wedding day on the 4th of July; no one could deny how beautiful and well thought out everything was. So many details and personal touches ensured everyone had a wonderful time. So this week I am sharing a few pictures from Dan and Erika's big day. A few pictures because as a guest I was having too much fun to snap away.

So this week I spent some time with the talented Hannah Miller and got to have some fun shooting with my macro lens. Hannah has her own blog which you can take a look at here https://cookwithhannah.wordpress.com. Hannah is a young aspiring chef who is passionate about all food although today's shoot was all about a super rich chocolate bundt cake. We shared a fun afternoon creating these images below. You can find the recipe on her blog and I highly suggest you give it ago because that cake tasted amazing! I am still dreaming about it, what can I say, the sweet popcorn decoration stole my heart. The blog had recently been taken oven by wedding photos so I thought I would mix it up a little and share with you some pictures from a recent shoot. May I introduce you to Jo Arber, artist and actress extraodinaire. After studying for a year she will be performing in a show at the end of this month and approached me about taking some new head shots. Always got to put your best foot forward. Anyway, if you are free on the 23rd through to the 25th of July click on the clink http://www.questors.org.uk/event.aspx?id=514 and so see this beauty on stage while you still can. Remember when I mentioned a few weeks ago that I had a double wedding? Well I finally had a little time to edit the images taken from that day. While Siri had already organised a wedding photographer, she had asked me to capture Mike's reaction when he first laid eyes on her in her beautiful wedding dress. Personally this is one of my favourite moments so of course I was happy to help out. As I had my camera I also grabbed a few more snaps because I could. As an off duty photographer it is still hard to put the camera down sometimes. |
