"Art is not what you see, but what you make others see" Edgar Degas. I had a wonderful event shoot for Art Academy London, earlier this week, who hired graduates and students to create portraits for guests. I was amazed at how quickly and effortlessly these were drawn. I also loved to see how each artist had their own style which still captures the personality of the sitter. This evening left me craving an art gallery visit. I know what I will be doing on my next day off.

So I thought i would share with you some behind the scenes images taken from the Oxfam fashion show. I was shooting both still and moving content on the day an it was so much fun capturing the talented team of makeup artists. So many unique looks for the runway. Lots of red lips and smokey eyes, got me excited to be more adventurous with my makeup. Catch the final looks here.
This week I thought I would share some images from a recent street style shoot. I have shot with Fransisca for a few years now and this shoot just ticket all my boxes. I personally love an all black outfit and the monochrome backdrop of South Kennington completed the aesthetic.
So this week I have had two fun shoots but mainly I have been attached to my laptop editing. So close to finishing one video edit but just as I am about to send it off I see something, always something to tweak. Unfortunately I can not really share what I am working on yet. Instead I thought I would share a reel I posted on Instagram. Always a pleasure working with Jai and I think this clip shows just how important the editing process can be. I am focused on capturing the best image I can in camera but post is where you can have some fun.
**Not sure why YouTube isn't syncing with my blog and claiming the video is private when it isn't. The link to watch it on YouTube is here or you can watch it on Instagram here. |
