This morning even though I had slept in (oops) I decided not to rush. I went to another one of my local cafes and enjoyed a coffee while I sorted out my list of things to do today. Lavish Habit has been open for over a year and I really love the whole atmosphere of this little independent café and boutique shop. It is nicely cluttered with such delicate and beautiful items it can keep me entertained for hours. I personally love the attention to detail in this place. Everything has such a lovely vintage and homemade feel about it. I was lucky enough to be able to take a few photographs while I enjoyed my latte.

Sometimes when you are just feeling a bit average it is important to spoil yourself. It really is all about the little things. For me, one of my favourite things are flowers. Nothing better than a big bunch of beautiful flowers to cheer you up, especially on a winters day when everything feels dark and grey. A big bunch of bright flowers will always deliver a big smile from me.Everyone who knows me, knows how much I love a good coffee and it is wonderful to have a local cafe which can keep me happy. After working in the hospitality industry for so many years, you become to put it mildly, a little fussy. When I find a place I enjoy I tell everyone. Milk is a cute cafe which has a very Australian feel. They have a simple menu which is done very well. The specials board is always worth looking out for and don't forget the homemade cakes.I had to film a fighting sequence, one with a difference, as the actors were to use cake. This was a fun and challenging evening, especially as time was our enemy. I have to say I was touched as some of my friends helped out, we really could not have done it without you. Anyway, I took a few before and after shots. Keep you posted about the video edit. |
