This weekend I tried something different and took a mini digital detox. I have been editing a few jobs and had spent far too many hours either staring at my laptop or phone. I personally find it difficult to switch off and relax so it was a little challenging but rewarding nonetheless. I went on a long walk, taking all the back streets through central London, stoping for coffee and eventually a late lunch. Felt good to explore new potential locations and I am ready for a busy week. I was too busy enjoying the moment that I didn't even take a iPhone photo. So I will leave you with an image of Tess that I took earlier in the week. Always have so much fun on our shoots catching up and making time for a coffee.

Been a little quiet here as I have been finishing off a video edit. It has taken me some time to get to a place where I am happy with it. The problem with editing is knowing when to stop as you always find something you can change. I also find you can be too close to your content and need a break so you can review with fresh eyes. Fortunately I had a fun shoot with Chiara early one sunny morning and took some street style images, as well as an iced coffee break. This humidity and warm weather got me reaching for linen and cotton items. This linen Sleeper dress might just be in my shopping basket to help keep me cool when the sun returns.
You probably have heard that Valentino has launched a makeup collection and Selfridges currently has a pop up store. I meet with Mariko one morning before the store opened to shoot some video content as well as take some images. Such a fun morning! Totally fell in love with this pink suit and collection. Another good excuse to head into Selfridges If you are in town.
These long summer days are bringing me so much joy and as I sat here wondering what to write/ share this week it got me thinking about a shoot I did Smoothie London last month. Smoothie have recently added some new pieces to their collection and I was lucky enough to get a first look. We wanted to capture that fun summer evening vibe where you forget the time because you are caught up in the moment. Check out the new pieces here.
