Any excuse for a dress up
While no one really knows the origin of Halloween, it is slowly but surely becoming a popular custom, as we all love to find any excuse to dress up. This year was no exception especially as we had to support our friends Double Standard. A small group of us celebrated Halloween early at The Kennington pub (http://thekennington.com) where they were playing. It was a fabulous night and the costumes were absolutely crazy. Take a peak at some of my favourites.
I love going to the theatre and free tickets are always an extra bonus. So with no expectation or knowledge I went to see a Chorus of Disapproval. Unfortunately I found it rather dull and after a tiresome evening my boyfriend tried to salvage the night with a good glass of wine. We went to a little pub in convent garden and met a rather wonderful chap called Michael. He was a local and a rather fascinating character. After watching me take some photos he brought something to my attention. It is moments like these I really love living in London. I wonder who Emma was and what her story could have been?
