Recharging

This last year has been a rather interesting ride. I have had to make a few changes and one of the most important changes was taking time out to relax. Nothing like a holiday to help you recharge your personal batteries. I spent most of last week in Amsterdam with my mum and boyfriend. What can I say the relaxed friendly and beautiful atmosphere was just what the doctor ordered. These guys know how to live. I packed my camera and had a personal goal to take a nice picture of my mum. A challenge at the best of times as she like me hates being in front of the lens. Always up for a challenged I think I managed to even take a few. Mission accomplished. Here are a few other snaps I took while out and about exploring. Cheers to the long weekend everyone!

Pretty in Pink

The sun was shinning earlier this week and I have proof! Laura from The Careless Blogger contacted me to see if I was free for a quick photo shoot as summer had returned to London for a few days. Dressed as a modern day Pink Lady, Laura and I met at Waterloo station. We followed the sun and headed to Southbank for some fun shots while watching a breathtaking sunset. Hard to believe I have been in the UK for over a decade. Time really does fly when you are having fun. Now more than ever I really appreciate my surrounding which constantly keep me inspired. I have a busy week of preproduction, finding locations for up and coming shoots. What I love is just how diverse London can be. Each area has it's own personality and atmosphere. I don't think you could ever get bored here. Anyway, I am sharing a few images I have previously taken when out and about with you this week. Along with exploring, I love to people watch. A dress to impress

Summer is here and we all need that little dress that makes us feel amazing! I did a little fashion shoot with Laura, fashion and lifestyle blogger from the careless blogger website. Anyway, Laura found the perfect delicate summer dress from Oasis which can conveniently be found here. We were lucky to have a wonderful weather so headed to Queen Mary's Garden in Regent Park to take a few pictures for her blog which can also be found here. This week I thought I would share a few of my favourites. It was an absolute pleasure working with Laura and hope this is the first of many shoots.
