Please let me introduce you to my friend Som. While I might have the Eddie Murphy skit from Delirious in my head about the ice-cream man, I would like to take a moment and share some incredible images I took when I finally had the chance to visit Popstick Ice Cream http://popsticicecream.com.au/#about in Melbourne. To be honest, I wish Som drove a truck around my neighbourhood. He has an incredible gift for creating delicious flavours and will make you rethink your concept of ice-cream. Melbourne friends I look in your direction and dare you to go visit and taste the best ice-cream! I only wish he delivered to the UK but that could be the next business plan... Hint hint.

As a photographer one of the best moments is unwrapping that new lens you have had your eye on for months. After my amazing holiday I needed a little pick me up and what better way to treat yourself than to purchase that lens. On my last video shoot I was lucky enough to use the 100mm macro and fell in love. Here I am testing out the latest addition. I can not wait to continue this experiment and capture some video when I have a little more time on my hands. I still have loads of holiday pictures to bore you all with but thought I would mix it up a little and share some rather cute pictures of puppies. My friend Peter Rae and his wife Helen had a litter of seven adorable Border Collie/ German Shepherd cross. Three of which are still for sale. To find out more details, click here http://albaandsven.weebly.com. I mean, we can all do with a little cuteness in our lives. Take a closer look at these adorable balls of fluff, it was very hard not take one one home with me. Nothing better than acting like a tourist for the day. First chance we could we headed to Lone Pine to get up close and personally with some of Australia's finest wildlife. A trip to Australia isn't complete with a little cuddle from a koala and hand feeding the kangaroos. This may sound cheesy but I must confess we were all running around like big kids with smiles on our faces. Australia really is a beautiful country and in my absence I had forgotten. Please enjoy some of the photo taken from that day. |
