I can not remember when I first read this quote but something about it really stuck a cord in my heart. As a photographer you are often asked about what you like and admire. Imogen Cunningham hits the nail perfectly on the head with her popular quote "Which of my photographs is my favourite? The one I'm going to take tomorrow." I could not agree more and enjoy how diverse my job can often be. I always look forward to my next shoot, seeing what I will learn or get inspiration from. I was on a recent shoot with a successful fashion photographer who also models. This girl really can do everything! Anyway, Melissa ask me to take some new head shots for her. Through her guidance and suggestion I was able to get out of my comfort zone and try something new. With this situation my excitement and enthusiasm grows and reminds my exactly why I love my job. Here is a sneak peak at some of the rushes from the shoot.

So it has been a strange and busy week. I have spent a few days waiting for technicians. Among others things, I have been waiting for my internet to be finally sorted. I had hoped it would be transferred by now as I moved in early December but then I am learning to be patient. So while I waited all day they managed to disconnect my internet so my patience it now running thin. Instead of upgrading to fibre I have been left without any service for five days. I do feel bad how much I rely on the internet but it is also crucial for work. So I apologise for this week's blog. I am keeping it short and sweet sharing one of my favourite images from a wedding shoot last year. I just love this moment between Rachel and David, wow what a day! Now back to taxes ...
So this week has seen the weather drop. We even had not one but two days of snow. I don't know about you but I still get far too excited whenever it is snows in London. Just something beautiful about this rare occasion. Despite the cold weather Nina from Fashion Blur braved the chill for our fashion shoot for her blog. I don't know about you but I have some serious coat envy. We bounded over our mutual love for Zara, anyway check out her blog at www.fashionblur.co.uk for details. It might inspire some serious online shopping like it did for me. Sneak peak from a shoot with the talented Lucy Warr. Lucy is in her final year at Italian Conti and has the most increbible singing voice. I highly recommend you keep an eye out for this talented face. Aside from her amazing talent she always looks stunning. Check out her fun playful style below, absolutely love this girl! |
