So I was lucky to attend and photograph Karen Hobb's second preview for her Edinburgh Fringe show, 'Tumour Has it' this week. Very much straight into work after holiday but I can not complain, wouldn't have it any other way. I found her show to be honest, heart warming and hilarious. In her one hour set Karen proves that laughter really is the best medicine as she takes you through her personal fight with the big C. You can still purchase tickets to her one woman show here www.underbellyedinburgh.co.uk/whats-on/karen-hobbs-tumour-has-it . In the meantime I will leave you with a few stills from her incredible show.

This blog is up 'early' this week as I am escaping London for a few days holiday. Looking forward to recharging my batteries. First item I packed was my camera so I am sure I will share some images with you in the near future. Otherwise I am looking forward to taking a little break away from the internet. Anyway, let me stop rambling and share with you a little impromptu photography shoot I did with the ever so talented Jo Hombsch. We were taking cover from the rain in Shoreditch Grind and ended up shooting a pictures because well we can! It also helps that the venue looks amazing on camera, such an awesome energetic atmosphere. I must confess I had been wanting to go for ages and was very happy to tick that of my list of coffee shops to try. Fresh orange juice and black coffee warmed us up and got the juices flowing (yes I know shameful play on word). Check out the images below and also a few more on Jo's blog which can be found here johombsch.com/2016/06/16/the-basic-id-forgotten-about-until-now/ I had the pleasure of photographing the stunning Georgia Meacham earlier this week. The blonde bombshell is a model represented by Oxgen Models as well as an up and coming actress. Seriously watch this face. Anyway, Georgia contacted me to organise a shoot to up date her portfolio. We met in Shoreditch and were blessed with mostly good weather. The heaven did eventually open up and almost wash us away. Anyway, here are a few of my favourite pictures taken from that day. Let me know what you think! So I know, twice in two weeks I am ashamed. Last week was a little busy and when it is bank holiday it messes up my week a little. Please tell me I am not alone in this. Tuesday feels like a Monday, it was just too confusing. Then I spent most of last week in Jeddah as I was fortunate enough to film a pre wedding dinner party and then the wedding. All this with a nasty cold and hopefully you will understand why I am a little late this week. I had every intention of uploading Sunday night but when I got home all I could think about was a home cooked meal, unpacking and my bed. |
