I had come home from work and was delighted to find that my boyfriend has spoilt me. He had bought me my favourite flowers and more coffee! He definitely knows the way to win my heart!

I went for a walk on a winter's day... It was a beautiful sunny morning and while I knew I had work to do, I needed to capture the golden glow. I grabbed my trusty camera and new Asahi Super Takumar 35mm lens. I was overdue a test shoot and wanted to see how it handled the golden morning light. Something about this time of year and the turning colours of the leaves which makes everything so stunning. I was not disappointed by my brief video test. Check out the results below. I had another wonderful shoot with director Chris Rogers from Off the Curb productions. Together we shot a small scene for actor Chris Matragos’s showreel. He had selected a moving monologue from the play Lobby Hero. I thought I would share with you the final clip. Please get in touch if you need some new showreel material. Confession time, I love the the way black and white can transform a picture into a beautiful statement. It brings an element of class and sophistication. So I am sure you won't be surprised to see that my blog this week is dedicated to some black and white portraits. I was given some eyelashes from the talented Sophie Parker Jeal at Starwigs and given creative freedom to capture some fun images. Take a look at few of my favourites below. Massive thank you to Lucy Warr for modelling and being a big star. You can purchase these lashes, along with many other new fun accessories, at www.starwigs.co.uk |
